Lumpia (Spring Rolls)

Lumpia (Spring Rolls)Lumpia also known as spring rolls in English, they are filled with vegetables and meat. This dish tastes great when served with soy sauce, vinegar or a slightly sweet sauce.

The term lumpia derives from lunpia traditional Chinese: ;pinyin: rùnbǐng; POJ: jūn-piáⁿ, lūn-piáⁿ) in the Hokkien language. The recipe, both fried and fresh versions, came from the Chinese immigrants from the Fujian province of China to Southeast Asia and became popular where they settled in Indonesia and the Philippines.

The recipe for this popular Filipino dish is below and to make it easier to follow we have added the YouTube video to the right.
