Pancit Palabok
This Filipino noodle dish is originally from China. Palabok are normally made from thin rice noodles and are covered with a bright orange Shrimp sauce. Appart from it’s sauce Palabok has similar ingredients to another Filipino dish called Pancit Canton.

Ingredients
- 8 Cups of water
- 1 cup of mango sprouts
- 1lb Pancit Bihom (Rice Noodles) or Palabok Noodles
Sauce:
- ¼ cup atsuete (Annato) seeds, soaked in water
- ¼ cup of water
- 2 cups shrimp juice
- 6 tbsp of all purpose flour
- ½ cup of water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Toppings
- 1 cup of cooked Pork, diced or strips
- 2 pieces of tokwa (Beancured) cubed
- ½ cup of flaked tinapa (smoked fish)
- ½ cup pork cracklings (chicaron)
- 2 boiled Eggs sliced in to wedges
- ½ cup of Shrimps cooked and shelled
- ½ cup of chopped green onions for garnish
- 1 tbsp of fried garlic for garnish
- Kalamansi (Philippine lemon/ lime)
