“Sinigang” A popular Philippine Soup lightly boiled & slightly sour, it makes a tasty dish when served with rice. It’s cooked using souring agents like unripe guavas, tamarind leaves and flowers, kamias and tomatoes.

- 3/4 kilo pork good for stewing
- 1 medium onion
- a bunch of winged beans
- a couple of taro root
- long green chili
- 40 g. tamarind soup base
- 3 small tomatoes
- a bunch of water spinach (kangkong)
- 1 medium size white radish
- 5 1/2 cups of water
- salt to taste
